A Glimpse into the Future of Biochar: ARTi at GrainWorks 2025
In July 2025, Dr. Bernardo del Campo, CEO of ARTi, joined innovators and industry leaders at the exclusive GrainWorks 2025 conference hosted by Grain Ecosystem (GRAIN). This trailblazing gathering brought together pioneers in carbon removal, sustainable agriculture, and biochar production, all united by a mission to accelerate global decarbonization. Dr. del Campo’s participation highlighted ARTi’s ongoing leadership in developing cutting-edge pyrolysis technologies and advancing the conversation around sustainable waste-to-value solutions.
GRAIN operates in profitable decarbonization projects focusing on organic waste and regenerative farming, considering waste-to-value solutions like biochar as playing a central role. Their vision includes a digital-first platform that streamlines carbon certification, business economics and collaboration. The more aspects of a decarbonization project that are fully accounted for, the more likely the effort will be successful and profitable. With this approach, GRAIN is positioning itself as a central hub for driving and connecting high-impact decarbonization initiatives.

At ARTi, we are maintaining a strategic partnership with GRAIN focused on the joint development of profitable biochar-related projects. This collaboration has proven to be mutually beneficial with both organizations regularly sharing opportunities and complementing each other’s strengths. GRAIN has referred clients to ARTi who are seeking technological solutions and biochar expertise that fit their projects. In turn, we’ve connected them with leads looking for project financing or support in building financial structures.
Beyond introductions, GRAIN also provides a digital platform that allows for publishing project profiles, attracting the appropriate investors, and conducting preliminary site feasibility assessments. This has been especially valuable in advancing projects for clients with limited financial resources who need support in aligning their goals with available capital.
